back for coffee and goodies at the internet cafe so a bit more time. Arles is beautiful, roman ruins so Im happy! We will have buns of steel when we get home from all the walking up and down. Eating out is very expensive so we are glad we are being fed. Had a picnic lunch outside of town today. Hope to get some stuff written up tonight and find more internet tomorrow.
Sorry guys no internet till now and now Im trying to use a french keyboard. Having a great time, climbed a million steps, ate way too much. Not much time right now as we are in Arles on a trip, will be back later hopefully to tell you more. Scenery is to die for, my french is improving a bit. There is way too much to see and do around here so we decided not to go away for the weekend. Wish you were all here. My french vocabulry doesnt yet include the words for mortat etc.

Here we are in Charlotte airport and we found a wine bar with a tasting - how cool is that??? So we are off to a good start and hope it carries on that way.

Countdown!

3 days to go and so much to do! Not just the packing but making sure things around the house are as ready as they could be in case we get hit by a hurricane while we are away (everyone cross your fingers at this point). I still have to get emergency info to Shara (gave it to Ben too but as he's in the middle of a move he won't be very useful) and show my neighbor what to do with Rosco the cat for the first week and both Rosco and TC (Ben's cat who will be staying with me for a while) the second week.
Informed my bank and credit card company that I will be in France so they don't cut off my funds when I try to use the cards. Now there would be a disaster, all that good French food and wine and no way to buy it.
We arrive in Paris 9/13 and will be there for 2 days before proceeding to Provence on the TGV (superfast train) for our 2 weeks of work and play. Tracey is taking her laptop so we hope to be able to update blogs, post pics, e-mail - all the good stuff. This is always assuming that we can find internet access, I can just about ask 'does this cafe have wireless internet' in French now after listening to language cds in the car for a couple of weeks
